Dual Review

Yeah I am doing a dual review (i.e. reviewing two games at once) because if I don't then I will get behind even more.

Army of Two the 40th Day

This game I picked up only because I played and enjoyed the first one. It is a complete popcorn game (like a mindless action movie that comes out in the summer) I enjoyed it but it was short and I would only play it again if I did it co-op with a friend.

The graphics were good enough and the various weapons all looked and functioned in true enough form.

The sound worked well all the explosions and gun fire sounded well mixed. The dialog was ridiculous most the time and yes I know Nolan North is in this game too.

All in all the game was fun and probably would have been better with a second player but I liked it.

Heavy Rain is a master piece, it was everything I hoped it would be. I wouldn't actually call it a game....more like an interactive movie.

The graphics were hit and miss, some of it was great and other parts were down right scary.

The sound had great ambiance, and atmosphere, the only problem with the dialog was the fact that it was a all European actors trying to sound American and they couldn't pull it off all the time.

Finally I loved this game, if you want a true interactive experience that is more about story than it is about martial arts or head shots then get this now.

I will be MIA for a while since I just got MAG, and Splinter Cell Conviction shipped yesterday.
